We've been experiencing performance issues which are invisible to our normal grafana dashboards. I think having performance measured by the browser will give a much clearer picture of exactly when users hit performance issues.

Known issue: monitoring on the homepage might not be working correctly due to caching, but can fix in a future issue/PR.
