PrimeTime 2004 Hare Scrambles On Saturday October 2nd I entered the PrimeTime Hare Scrambles at Metcalf Motorcycle park in San Jose, CA. It was a 90 minute race and I finised 70th out of 113 riders. The first lap was 10.8 miles, and it seemed like half of that was tight twisting single track so a smaller lighter bike than my 525 EXC would of helped. idsconfig index errors Sometimes when you run idsconfig you'll see some index errors scroll up the screen. A good way to prevent this is to do a directoryserver stop and a directoryserver start before running idsconfig. Rebooting will also do the trick but a stop/start is much faster. Since I'm short on time I dropped my KTM 525EXC off at the repair shop to have the hydraulic clutch drained and serviced. They did a OK job of that, but when they reassembled it they forgot to assemble my chain guard and installed my chain guide upside down. I'm still puzzled why they added an extra washer to my clutch cover? Maybe they were wondering what the gap was for? In the end I ended up having to fix all these issues myself. At least the clutch worked well. My theory is two different people worked on my bike, otherwise it was one forgetful person. Always double check a repair shop wheaters its your bike or your car. You are supposed to row 100,100 meters from Sept 15 to Oct 15. I started late, so I guess I have some ground to make up. So far I'm up to about 17,000 meters. I'm hoping the rowing will help to get me ready for the Oct. 2nd PrimeTime Hare Scramble race.
