Advantages: Very fast, looks nice, loads of extra software and hardware features, fast network adapter
Disadvantages: Graphics card, no num pad when there's room. Bad touch pad. That's about it.

...always use a mouse anyway. Acer gives you plenty of useless software for you to enjoy as well which is always a good thing. Quite stylish (once you get past the mushroom colour which I sadly quite like anyway!). I reckon it's pretty durable as well. I let the holographic back on mine get a bit scratched. Not bad battery life. Only about an hour at high performance gaming but over 3 hours on battery saver doing word processing. I've seen worse. Nice ...
...pretty good. I like this speedy laptop and it is just so good that I am getting annoyed at those petty things like no num pad and a rubbish graphics card! I think that says something about it. Advantages: Fun laptop powers up and off quickly
Disadvantages: Poor battery life

...to nine hours on the asus website but in reality this can only be achieved when all functions of use - bluetooth, wireless internet connection, graphics etc are switched off. All in all an excellent and fun piece of equipment but definitely more suitable for people looking for something to use for fun and basic internet use rather than for work purposes, great for kids in particular as basic office applications work fine and are compatible with Microsoft ... The NC10 is simply the most capable netbook on the market today. Its fantastic styling, great build quality and ease of upgrade make it one of my top netbooks. This is not another rip-off rebrand job, this is a genuine product. I wouldnt personally recommend WinXP as the operating system however, i would replace this with the Ubuntu Linux derivative gOS, which suits the machine in terms of both hard ware and software.
